The Skate Frederick In-house Hockey Program is a recreational and developmental hockey program for boys & girls ages 5-17. The program concentrates on fundamentals and having fun at the same time. It is required that each player completes the Skate Frederick Learn-To-Play Program or have prior hockey experience. Full Equipment is required.

The Skate Frederick In-House 
Spring Season:
(Players must have completed a Learn-to-Play Hockey program before registering).

Spring Season:   March 25-June 8

Medals presented to all players at end of season ceremonies

• Stop clock games - 
  Mites & Squirt - 12 minute periods
  Pee wee, Bantam, & Midget- 15 minute periods.
• USA HOCKEY Certified coaches & officials.
• Head Coaches* and Goalies Discount half price.
  *Full payment must be made upon registration.  Refund will be issued after coaches are selected by the Hockey Director.

Our Philosophy
In joining the Skate Frederick In-House program, the players will learn and develop the fundamentals of the coolest game on earth!  Through weekly practices and games, our qualified coaches will teach the players individual and team tactics allowing them to continue to play hockey at a recreational or higher level according to their aspiration.  This is accomplished by using the values of commitment, discipline, and sportsmanship as the cornerstone of our program.

USA Hockey Membership is from 9/1 to 8/31 of the current year. Each player must be registered with USA Hockey. If you are not already registered for the 06-07 season with USA Hockey, Please register online at USAHockey.com and provide a copy of your receipt. If you are already a member of USA hockey, we need your membership number before you can participate.

The In-house Program is divided into the USA Hockey Age Classifications:

USA HOCKEY CROSS ICE PROGRAM
5-8 year olds (Born 1999 - Present)
4 Practices & 10 Games
$265 + tax by 3/16/08  ($285 after)

SQUIRT
9-10 year olds (Born 1997 - 1998)
4 Practices and 10 Games
$300 + tax by 3/16/08 ($320 after)

PEE WEE
11-12 year olds (Born 1996 - 1995)
4 Practices and 10 Games
$320 + tax 3/16/08  ($340 after)

BANTAM
13-14 year olds (Born 1993 - 1994)
 4 Practices & 10 Games
$320 + tax before 3/16/08 ($340 after)

MIDGET
15-18 year olds (Born 1989-1992)
4 Practices & 10 Games
$320 + tax before 3/16/08 ($420 after)

The State of Maryland requires a 10%  Amusement Tax on this activity.
