Intermediate Skating Camp

Enhance your forward and backward crossovers while learning other figure skating skills. This camp will introduce skaters to jumps, spins, edges, synchronized skating and more. Learn off-ice training techniques and the benefits. Camp includes daily snack and rental skates.
Basic 3 and above levels are invited to attend.

Figures: Controling proper usage of inner and outer edges
Power Skating: Building endurance to add that extra power to your skating
Jumps: Covering technique for take off, mid air and landings. On-ice and off-ice training
Spins: Enhancing the skaters spin ability
Off-Ice Stretches: Train on how to get your muscles ready for the on-ice skating
4 and 5 year old Learn to Skate Summer Camp - $95.00

Learning to skate is easy when you’re having fun! Our innovative instructors have come up with a great way to beat the heat this summer. Your child will make new friends, and learn a skill that lasts a lifetime! He/she will be introduced to the basic skills of ice skating-balance, forward stroking, snowplow stops, swizzles, and more. On-ice games, off-ice stretches and snacks will also be a part of this exciting opportunity for your 4 or 5 year old. Rental skates are also included!

Ice Skating Camp (6 year olds and above)

It’s mighty hot outside, but you don’t have to be! This camp is your chance to learn how to slide, glide, and swizzle across the ice and be cool at the same time. Our instructors incorporate games that make learning fun! Camp includes rental skates and snacks.

Session 3: August 5-9

Theater On Ice-TV LAND

TV LAND
Let your talents shine on the Ice! Have fun and make new friends-be a part of Skate Frederick's Summer Theater production of TV LAND. Choreographed solos and group numbers will be featured with plenty of opportunities for skaters of all ages and abilities!
Practices will be held on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm throughout the summer. Schedule will allow for vacation plans.
Auditions for solo parts will be held Wednesday
May 22 @ 5:30 pm
Group numbers begin practice on Wednesday

No tryouts necessary, everyone participates!
